Update regarding Corona Virus and Clip ‘n Climb Cambridge 17.3.20

We all thank you for your messages of support at this time, and for helping us with our new cleaning arrangements.  It is so very worrying for independent businesses, and we’re doing our best to keep our team and our customers safe and healthy, and staying in business.

Following the Prime Minister’s announcement yesterday, we are left, with many others in the leisure and hospitality industry, in a bit of a state of flux.

We have decided on a course of action for the time being which involves limiting the number of people in the centre, alongside the increased cleaning that we are doing.  We still have a number of customers who wish to follow through with their birthday parties, and we are not in the business of disappointing, so we believe these measures are adequate until a time when the government says we must close our doors until advised otherwise.

From today (17th March) we will halve our capacity for climbers each day.  We will also waive our rule about parents being allowed on the arena, so if you wish to help your child rather than one of our instructors, that’s fine.

If you have a session coming up, and you would rather not come to the centre, we completely understand.  You have three different options:

  1. Choose a date in the future, and we will move your booking
  2. If you’re unsure of the date you would like, we can move your booking to the end of the year, and then get in touch with times are more certain, and move you to your date of choice
  3. Have a full refund

For those with parties or groups over 10 climbers that would still like to come to the centre, you are still  very welcome.  We only have a handful of these groups booked, and we will cap the capacity around you to restrict numbers.

As with everyone, advice changes on a day to day basis, so if we get to a situation where the centre shuts, we will issue a post, and get in touch with everyone who is booked in to process their refunds or move their dates.

If you have any questions, please do contact the centre by email or by calling 01223 941700.

Keep well everyone.
