As Clip 'n Climb Cambridge celebrates its 10th anniversary, the team is taking the time to reflect on the community impact the centre has had since opening in August 2016.
Clip 'n Climb Cambridge has built up an excellent rapport with local families, organisations and tourists alike. Based on Clifton Road, Clip 'n Climb is a popular destination for adrenaline-fueled fun. With a safe and easy to use belay system, over 400,000 climbers of all ages and abilities have experienced action-packed climbing in our vibrant climbing centre. The youngest recorded climbers are just 2 years old, with inspiring climbers well into their 80s regularly welcomed, revealing the scale of Clip 'n Climbs role as an inclusive hub in Cambridgeshire.
Below are what the team at Clip 'n Climb Cambridge view as some of our most rewarding numbers:
- 10,000 Birthday Parties: helping children celebrate their special day and create unforgettable memories with friends and family
- 20,000 SEND Climbers: providing a safe and supportive environment for climbers with Special Educational Needs
- 15,000 Little Rockers: welcoming toddlers to explore a stimulating environment and the opportunity to work on their soft skills
- 5,000 Rockstars: a chance for primary school children to develop their climbing skills in our fun After-School Club
- 2,300 Group Bookings: hosting team-building, educational, and fundraising sessions for Schools, Youth Groups, Charities, and Corporates
- 40 Sleepovers: providing Youth Groups the unique, unforgettable experience of sleeping on the climbing arena
Clip 'n Climb Cambridge recognise the centre wouldn't be what is is today without all of our wonderful climbers. We would like to thank everyone who has supported us over the last 10 years and are looking forward to seeing you over the next decade!
